As part of our commitment to serve, The Refine Institute has partnered with Senai, a Charlotte based charity totally focused on social enterprise and humanitarian aid in Ethiopia. In discussing partnership opportunities with Drew Harding, the founder of Senai, we have chosen to contribute to their orphanage project referred to as Hannah’s Home.

Hannah’s Home is a unique orphanage concept in the heart of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  It started with the compassion of Hannah, a radiantly joyful woman who opened her home up to street children and began caring for them.  Since then, she has recruited other house-moms and together they have taken in over 230 orphans off the streets of Ethiopia.  They provide food, shelter, education, love, and a safe place to play and gather in community.  SENAI plays a strategic part as they find funding and connect international and domestic businesses, individuals and churches to this ministry.
