After surgery, you will be bruised, swollen, and tender for several days. Your pain should be controllable with oral medication and you should be back to work in a week or so. However, like other breast surgeries, you must not use your arms too much. Due to swelling, it will take several weeks to assess your final size and shape of your breasts.
